These are the State Verbs

State verbs describe conditions, thoughts, emotions, relationships, or qualities that are stable and unchanging. These verbs usually cannot be used in continuous tenses because they express a state rather than an action, although there are exceptions when describing temporary actions or experiences, such as “I’m loving it” or “The soup is tasting great today.”
