Assessment evidence
– Students will participate in a mock Speaking Part 1 activity, where they will be asked a series of personal and opinion-based questions. The teacher will assess their ability to answer confidently and fluently, as well as their pronunciation and grammar. – Students will engage in a role-play exercise, where they will
practice building rapport with the examiner. The teacher will assess their ability to maintain eye contact, use appropriate body language, and demonstrate a friendly and approachable demeanor. – Students will complete a worksheet where they will identify the types of questions asked in Speaking Part 1. The teacher will assess their understanding of the different question types through their accurate identification and explanation of each type.
